Post-lockdown travelling – What should you look for?

The lockdown was announced more than months ago. Since then, people have stayed at home. But now slowly, things are opening up again. With Unlock 1.0 phase, restaurants, hotels and resorts have once again resumed their services. For people who are tired of just seeing the four walls of their home, this is a chance to visit a weekend holiday resort in Kolkata.

Although transport services have started again, long-distance travel is still going to be out of the equation for at least a few months now. But after months of lockdown, people are desperate to travel once again. So many people are looking for relaxing getaways close to the city. Booking a luxurious stay at a weekend holiday resort in Kolkata seems like the ideal vacation in current circumstances.

But while you’re booking a resort, make sure they follow these below guidelines with strict compliance.
  1.       The entire staff must be wearing N95 masks and gloves at all times.
  2.       Hand sanitizers must be available in each room and at every point of the resort.
  3.       All touch points (like door knobs, switches, door handles, safety latches and taps etc.) shall be cleaned regularly with disinfectant cleaner.
  4.       At the reception area, the floor should be marked at every 2 meters distance so guests can stand without breaking the social distancing protocol.
  5.       Before check-in, all guests have to go through a thermal scan. Only those with a body temperature of 98.3 Fahrenheit or below will be allowed entry.
  6.       Only trained professionals shall be allowed to enter and work in the kitchen.
  7.       Each of the kitchen staff must be wearing disposable gloves at all times.
  8.       Food must be served only by trained professionals. No contact shall be made with any guest while serving the food.

If you’re planning a relaxing stay at weekend holiday resort in Kolkata, you must ensure these sanitization measures are followed.
